Abbott's Mill has guided tours every 3rd Saturday of the month. This is a great opportunity to spend time with the family and also gain some knowledge on Abbott's Mill's History.During the tour the guide will talk about Abbott's Mill that is from 1795. There are many other activities for the whole family including the adults. This event would be great to learn more about history in Delaware.

The Wildflower Celebration is a free event held at Mt. Cuba Center in Hockessin, Delaware. It is an event to celebrate the season of Spring. During the event their is live music, family activities, and gardening activities. This is an event for the whole family to enjoy. On their website you can find a detailed program for that day. Events with an asterick (*) are labeled as kid friendly activities. This would be a great experience to learn more about flowers and nature.
50th Annual Great Delaware Kite Festival March 30th 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Cape Henlopen State Park
The Kite Festival is held at Cape Henlopen State Park. Their are kite competitions and since it is held on Good Friday there will also be an Easter Egg Hunt and an Egg Toss. This event is for the whole family to enjoy. There will be many activities and crafts. We are off from school on Good Friday so this is a great way to start off your Spring Break!
Culture Day at School April 27, 2018 Georgetown Elementary School Free school event
This is a free in-school event that Georgetown Elementary is having to celebrate cultural diversity. Culture Day at School is a day when children can dress up to represent their culture. They can also represent someone else's culture in a respectful way. Remember this day is to spread awareness of diversity acceptance in our class, school, town, state, country, and world.
